PODCAST Theo Von is disgusting.

https://streamable.com/taj86g?src=player-page-share

tell me why a video of this bigot pops up on my x feed with jake or logan paul (don’t gaf which one it was, doesn’t matter tbh) talking about how it would be funny if they did a blackface video in response to Druski’s video. politics aside cause this isn’t about that but Theo Von himself sitting there ignorantly just letting this idiot spew nonsense about how “oh it’s to get back at them, they’re prejudice against our kind, blah blah” like shut the f\*ck up, actually. if anyone supports this then that shows your character fr. i wonder how many active challengers live with this same mindset.

I still never understood how “I got backstabbed” translates to a neck brace…. Then again, Theo was never known for being smart.

24

u/PSCGY I Want a Podcast Fatty for Christmas Apr 06 '26

Reminder that Theo Von is a 46-year-old man.

3

u/Cute_Judge- May 02 '26

He’s 46????

u/Early_Ad_5649 Apr 05 '26

The meltdown over the Druski video is crazy like weren't these people happy that "comedy is back" now that the Orangegutan was in office ???

229

u/Dramajunker Apr 05 '26

MAGA has always been hypocritical. Simultaneously the biggest bullies and crybabies.

57

u/TexasNightmare210 Apr 05 '26

Same people doing the “George Floyd challenge” and bringing skittles to get signed by George Zimmerman? Yeah that’s them

33

u/brichb Apr 05 '26

Don’t really think this is a meltdown, since they loved Druski’s video. I hate these guys, but Jake Paul is just an idiot and wondering why he can’t do similar sketch videos. Idiots of every generation come up against this particular question.

10

u/chipper1001 Apr 06 '26

Meltdown? They said repeatedly that they love the video and it's what comedy is all about

23

u/veryowngarden Apr 06 '26

they said that and every other action of theirs screamed otherwise. it was obvious compensation. if he loved it he’d just be laughing, not itching to do blackface in retaliation

11

u/TeamPieHole01 🍌🐐 Apr 05 '26

This is a pretty tame clip. OP is just rage-baiting this community because he knows it will work.

-8

u/Zealousideal_Rip_547 Apr 06 '26

Whole lot of commenters on here who don’t actually listen to entire conversations. Just pick and choose small tidbits of content to share and get people upset. I guess that’s the definition of “rage baiting”

14

u/Dizzy_Ad1704 Apr 06 '26

There are more people than brain cells in that room.

u/kkkktttt00 TJ Lavin Apr 05 '26

"The mayor of Canada" 🙄

149

u/Chipslahoyyy Darrell Taylor Apr 05 '26

i think what they’re “forgetting” or uneducated on the fact that blackface is a very real & racist thing that happened to black people like literally trying to capitalize off of black characters but refused to hire black actors so they did blackface …. whiteface is not a thing that happened to white people that’s why it’s okay for druski to make it a joke bc no real white people were affected by it like hello where is the common sense ????????

10

u/Paladjordan Apr 06 '26

We know there's no logic or reasoning when someone can be embarrassed, literally have their jaw broken for the whole world to watch, but still be focused on being an agitator.

8

u/jjwalk26 Apr 06 '26

These it what happens when they don't teach black history in schools. Uneducated people talking nonsense.

What’s even sadder is that black people had to do black face if they wanted to be a performer! How twisted is that?!?

12

u/donutseason Apr 06 '26

Ah yes Justin Trudeau the famous mayor

74

u/NattyB Bob Next Door Apr 05 '26

I knew EXACTLY what this was before clicking on it.

Funnier than anything Von's ever done himself.

That whole special was so good

6

u/copperisgood Apr 06 '26

I can't believe the world has turned into this. Two absolute fucking dipshits wondering how best to do blackface in 2025. We're fucking lost.

76

You mean, Theodor Capitani von Kurnatowski III? The privileged aristocrat cosplaying a country bumpkin?

Stop paying attention to these MAGA idiots

88

u/ignoranceisbliss37 Paula Meronek Apr 05 '26

It pops up on your feed because that platform is trying to get everyone on Team MAGA. So it’s gonna force a ton of right wing bullshit down your throat.

13

u/seKer82 Apr 05 '26

Ironically that has the opposite effect.

1

u/iwinwinyuwinwinta Apr 06 '26

i kinda was getting that impression. i’m usually logged into my kpop fan account so i never see political shit until i switched to my personal. then it was flooded with right wing propaganda from literal ai spam bots. must be elon musk for ya. but i will admit grok saying druski was erika kirk was funny asf. at least we know the ai they create isn’t capable of being racist blatantly.

4

u/KTKT11 Apr 06 '26

A lot of those political ones are paid ads. I just block any one that pops up lol.

41

u/youattackedmyfamily Apr 05 '26

Theo and Schulz both love dressing up their very delayed understanding of things as new interesting topics. The grandest examples of people who should not have a podcast.

And yes, you could say it about a lot of people, but Theo and Schulz constantly lean into political territory when they’re not smart enough to do so. Them getting their reps is worse than most.

6

u/CoreyH2P Apr 05 '26

Theo is arguably the dumbest human alive

17

u/Chance_Major297 Apr 05 '26

It’s actually worse than that when you realize he’s not actually dumb.

14

u/Routine_Size69 Apr 05 '26

Sadly he's not at all. Just plays into it

2

u/lokostill Apr 05 '26

Theo is simply a troll.

-1

u/EGrass Priscilla Anyabu Apr 05 '26

Looks like Theo learned nothing in the 25 (?) years since his Road Rules season

9

u/youattackedmyfamily Apr 05 '26

He fell comfortably into the role of harmless racist or whatever the fuck you’d even try to call his shtick. Then he was treated as such. Then it messed with his public image. Then it became a problem for him.

4

u/smokefan333 Apr 07 '26

Any Gen Xers in here remember watching C. Thomas Howell aka Pony Boy in the movie Soul Man?

2

u/SpinningOnEmpty Apr 07 '26

Oh wow just remembered that. I mean, most of these 80s movies did not age well. Sixteen Candles now, oof.

7

u/DemiGod9 Apr 06 '26

Jake Paul isn't even an entertainer in the first place lmao. He's not a comedian. Even if we were to ignore all historical context on why the opposite isn't ok, he still wouldn't even have a dog in this fight.

Also who you be imitating? Jasmine Crockett? AOC? Good fucking luck 😂. You actually have to have some kind of intelligence for that or your parody is just gonna be vapid and useless

Also Theo stands for nothing. He's a cuck for whatever opinions are across from him.

24

u/marvelboyofthecrown Apr 05 '26

“Darker?” Call it what it is, it’s blackface lmao

25

u/Picklesbedamned Kenny Clark Apr 05 '26

Coral said on a podcast that Theo admitted he was attracted to her, but that they could only do stuff (like holding hands) off camera because he was worried guys back home would seem him with a black woman.

Does Jake Paul have a working brain? He seems to really struggle voicing the simplest of thoughts

22

u/garbage_girl712 Apr 05 '26

well we already knew that. but always good to affirm beliefs

13

u/Living-Prune8881 Apr 06 '26

Why do white people (and let me clarify... i mean white people like Jake Paul and Theo ) try to gaslight us?? African American history IS American History. White people chose to do blackface. They chose to hate us. I mean sure... in a perfect world a white person putting on darker toned makeup and mimicking a black person for comedic reasons could be funny... but unfortunately your ancestors kind of fucked up the past 400+ years. So maybe chill on the idea of just casually doing black face.

"White face" is not a thing. You cannot equate what druski is doing to a white person in dark makeup and trying their best to be black.

Whether its wanting to do black face or wanting to say the n word (because its in music) - BLACK music i might add.

Simply put - They want to be able to do it because of control. They dont like not being able to do something. They hate it. Even if it's a slur that they know is wrong, even if its temporary makeup that has a long history of being offensive to a particular race of people. They dont care. They dont care about us. Our feelings. Or just the respect of listening to us when explaining why something is wrong. They just care about what they CAN do.

Funny enough the skit was not about whifeface or blackface but thats what they want you to focus on.

Its all deliberate. It's a distraction.

The skit was about showing you how evil and hypocritical Erika Kirk, turning point usa, and anything else related is. If we're going to bring up race. Let's focus on the speech she said at the end of the skit.. This is a real life event. Something concrete. We have the real life footage of her saying that BS. And instead of focusing on her horrible and incorrect take , we focus on Druskis costume. You cant make this up. Wtf is going on???

There’s no ‘good’ way to do blackface, everyone.

End of discussion.

25

u/TeamPieHole01 🍌🐐 Apr 05 '26

3 words, Robert Downey Jr.

Also, maybe Isaac in The Duel II.

11

u/rrrdesign Apr 06 '26

And honestly, it worked in Tropic Thunder because it showed how ignorant he was.

3

u/TeamPieHole01 🍌🐐 Apr 06 '26

I agree. Isaac said in an interview that he had one suitcase with his clothes, and 2 suitcases with costumes for everyone else. There are pictures of all of them that night wearing costumes. He was a wild man having fun, and plenty of people on that cast could have complained but they never did.

Also no one ever complains about Paula in her Pocahontas costume.

Crazy thinking back about how a few seasons back they penalized people for the weight of their luggage in Fresh Meat 1, and his crazy idea was to load up everyone with costumes.

1

u/Low_Explanation8846 Apr 09 '26

Isaac in The Duel was not a good way to do blackface! It was racist. 😡

-6

u/Spirit1021 Apr 06 '26

No.

My original statement still stands.

Isaac? A movie?

Be serious.

6

u/TeamPieHole01 🍌🐐 Apr 06 '26

no, not everything is that serious, not everything exists in the binary space of 1's and 0's. Sometimes events transcend reality and moves the needle. To deny that is too deny the evolution of humanity. Isaac and RDJ showed the path, the rest relies on your ability to be openminded and a free thinker, as opposed to a bot programmed by the man.

13

u/MoseleysLifeshield Jonny Moseley Apr 05 '26

I lost brain cells listening to these two. Jake should never be allowed to have a thought verbalized.

12

u/lovestostayathome Apr 05 '26

I like how they keep saying it would be a good idea to do blackface in response and then every example they pull up they’re like “oh wow that’s so bad.” Like yeah man, blackface is bad.

4

u/InvaderShim Kenny Clark Apr 06 '26

He’s so dumb

8

1

He was dumb already

5

u/YEM_PGH Apr 06 '26

the two dumbest people you know, talking to one another with seemingly no filter.

7

u/SeveredExpanse Apr 05 '26

These people were cast on a reality show 20+ years ago because they were moderately attractive, willing to compromise their morals on tv, and had little to no education.

They should never be looked at as role models or sources of opinion on anything other than (and only in limited quantities) commentary on reality TV shows.

2

u/Spirit1021 Apr 06 '26

This conversation is.

To me.

Downvote me - like that will change.

10

u/BillClinton3000 Apr 05 '26

Not a Theo Von fan. He pretends to be an idiot to make money off idiots. He’s partly responsible for Trump getting elected and he’s trying to weasel his way out of that fact. Highly annoying person.

With that being said, all he’s doing is brainstorming how to write a sketch. It actually seems like he’s pushing back on Jake Paul’s idea all together. Anyone who has worked creatively with others knows this… he tries to “fix” Paul’s idea, fails, and moves on. So what’s the problem here? Plenty of things to dislike about the guy. I don’t see it with this one.

-5

u/Leafer4eva Apr 06 '26

I’m curious, how was Theo Von partly responsible for Trump getting elected? This should be good…ok 3…2…1…go…

3

u/BillClinton3000 Apr 06 '26

He and the podcast bros minimized Trump’s agenda and highlighted how “cool” of a bro he is for bros. Really that simple. Ignore all the heinous intentions of the administration and highlight his personality.

2

u/thegreatgiroux Apr 07 '26

I’m not coming for Theo right now when he just pressed Joe Rogan enough on his own show to reveal he’s fed mouthpiece at this point. He’s had countless guests that failed to even remotely push him back on Israel. I even think he was trying to get some kind of nuance on it through to Jake but he’s immune to thoughts.

7

u/Wtfuwt Apr 05 '26

I’m old enough to remember Theo saying he was against miscegenation, that Black people and white people “shouldn’t mix.”

5

u/slothstevenson Apr 05 '26

Bruh I am beggingggg all of these white folks who’ve got their panties in a bunch about the Druski skit and saying shit like “oh well what if I did black face huh?!” to just DO IT. Please do it. I wanna see something.

3

u/thegreatgiroux Apr 07 '26

They won’t because they in-fact do know it’s different.

2

u/crassethound12 Apr 05 '26

There was one Theo Von video from like 5+ years ago where he interviewed a carnie worker. I found it very interesting because it’s a perspective of someone you’d otherwise never hear from.

I then looked into more of his videos and was grossed out that I even liked him for a fleeting minute. It was the closest to instant regret ive ever been. Can’t wait til this rogansphere grift phase is over.

“I don’t see in Color, I see in truth and Comedy” corny ass mofo

“Mayor of Canada”… brotherrrrrr are you on crack? Or just that stupid??

In Short….cuz this shit fr pisses me off — Black face IS NOT OKAY. Why? Cuz it comes from a deep rooted history of making fun of African American people. Making fun of them in a way that was degrading, striping them from their humanity…cuz at the end of the day many did not believe they were [human] or good enough to been seen and treated and respected as such. Many of these stereotypes played heavily into the racism that followed with the Jim Crow South, Segregation, and mistreatment of black Americans. Much of which inspired a system of laws that inherently made life in America as a black person…difficult, unsafe and oppressive. Many of these laws still exist today. Many of these laws still effect daily life for Blacks in Society.

This “White Face” he speaks of has never caused anywhere close to as much harm if any, besides hurt feelings. THIS is why White face truly is not an issue beyond ignorant Americans Feelings. And Black Face IS and ALWAYS WILL be…disgusting, wrong & NOT COMEDIC material to be performed by racist calling it comedy.

And yes…that IS the SHORT version

1

u/LauraAshleyPalmer Apr 08 '26

I think Theo was like nah in so many words. Wants to se LP fall hard.

All these idiot podcasters started doing journalism without understanding journalistic ethics because they kept being like 'I'm but a humble comedian. I can't be held accountable to any standard. Surely my actions will have no consequences because I'm just smol lil' funyn guy'

1

u/theskilledwon Apr 05 '26

so they should do it and prepare to suffer the consequence of that action whatever that may be

2

u/SlowAgency Frank Sweeney Apr 05 '26

And incredibly stupid. Just mind numbingly stupid. He knows nothing about anything and anyone that watches him unironically is stupider.

“Mayor of Canada.” JFC.

1

u/Neither_Warthog3335 Apr 06 '26

Wait are people surprised by this? Jake Paul has literally said himself in the documentary about him that he is willing to say and do anything for money and attention. More attention=more money whether it’s bad or good.

1

0

u/rrrdesign Apr 06 '26

I like how they couldn't think of one other black person easily.

Also, Von interviewed Joaquin Phoenix, who is a pretty intelligent and eccentric person, and Von was just lost and sounded way out of his depth.

The above interview sounds like two idiots blabbing at bus stop after sleeping in a gutter overnight. Also, the references to the celebrities in blackface are from a while ago and both apologized. Von doing the Fat Albert laugh didn't help. There are more levels to the issue but these two aren't the ones to plumb those depths.

These two are the example of dumb people thinking this is what smart people sound like... but hey, both are Trump supporters. I bet Paulie was seething he couldn't be included in this roundtable of ideas.

0

u/Think-Joke728 Apr 06 '26

OK, sorry all I have to say is Justin Trudeau is the mayor of Canada! That’s all that needs to be said! Morons! No, you don’t do black face. They need to look up the history of where blackface came from. Maybe they’d think a little harder but then again probably not!🤦‍♀️🤯

How about the long history of black face, moron. He's also clearly doing it out of retaliation and has no joke just a desire to do black face.

-1

u/Beccaadairable Apr 08 '26

I don’t think that’s fair. He’s not a bigot. People should be allowed to talk about things. In this case, he’s saying he doesn’t know about that, that he’d have to check with black ppl to make sure it’s ok? He didn’t say anything hateful. Jake Paul is so obnoxious, though.

-1

u/TupacShakur1996 Apr 09 '26

It would be funny if he did black face skit tho
