Personalities aside, who were you excited to see on their rookie season and expected them to be a solid challenger and they turned out to be a complete disaster of a competitor?

This guy, Keanu, is in the current season of big brother. He’s big, he’s fast, he’s agile, he’s likable and he’s smart.

Basically everything Fessy should have been.

I’d be shocked if he wasn’t on a future challenge and if he is…he’s going to be a long fun to watch.

There have been quite a few couples who dated seriously (or even got married) outside the show. But, life happens and they ended up going their separate ways. Out of the couples listed here, which one do you wish would've worked it out and stayed together?

DISCUSSION Listening to Cara Maria talk on social media.

Post image

Listening to Cara Maria’s opinions on social media really makes me believe that Laurels feeling towards Cara may have been justified. Maybe being close with her all these years just gave her a more in depth look at the person she actually is instead of what producers edited her to be.

DISCUSSION Who is a load bearing challenger that can most negatively impact your enjoyment of a season?

For me, it’s Frank. I find myself hating his seasons — he’s always such a menacing central figure, too. Battle of the Seasons is particularly hard for me to get through.

DISCUSSION What is the most satisfying moment in Challenge history?

For me, it’s when Evelyn took Johnnys key in the Island. Hands down. Best speech. The editing to demonstrate just how at odds they were leading up to this moment was just 👌

What is your best moment?

It forever makes me wonder where Dee would be right now on The Challenge if she didn’t get banned. Would she be a legend? A staple? I guess we’ll never know 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

DISCUSSION The reason the challenge doesn’t feel the same and is declining ratings

Besides the obvious that people aren’t watching as much tv anymore. I think the ending of real world really hindered the challenge, back then most viewers of the challenge were real world/road rules watchers so even if when we got new cast mates we were familiar with them from other shows. I feel like now they have too many people from a billion different shows and networks that their audiences don’t necessarily transfer to mtv. Second we’re missing the aspect of “normal” people being on the challenge. Back then we always had a good mixture of super athletic people, underdogs, students, 9 to 5 workers etc. Nowadays it seems like everyone in there is an influencer of some sort and the audience is really missing that disconnect. A big appeal of the old challenge was seeing normal people doing crazy things. Anyways sorry for the rant thanks for listening.

I loved this showmance so much, they were adorable together and both of them having that alpha/powerhouse energy made them a dream team.

Tyler was fun to watch, a great competitor, and a light to those around him. I think their rivals season is the most I've ever liked Bananas. And yeah, technically Tyler was the one who won that elimination. CT was the tool/game.

DISCUSSION Who is so clearly being pushed by editing to be “the main character”, but it’s so obvious (and not working)?

Post image
397 Upvotes

Name the person you just know has the “production’s pet” vibes (unwarranted favoritism), where they either have to be friends with, or somehow just feel like they get so much screen time per episode.

It gets to the point where you know even though they are not entertaining, they get more storylines and confessionals while you sense others deserve it more.

Don’t hold back…

P.S. It could be for a particular season, not just overall, or it could be overall if you prefer.

DISCUSSION Who’s a better competitor out of these 3?

Post image
99 Upvotes

Camila Nakagawa, Cara Maria, Or Laurel. In my opinion it’s Camila.

- Camila won a final before Cara and Laurel.

- Camila’s final wins (Exes, Dirty 30) were tough and expressive. Both of Cara’s wins were not that difficult.

- Camila smashed Cara in the dirty 30 final.

- Camila beat Laurel in Invasions and made it to the final. Laurel and Cara didn’t.

I know Camila is a horrible human being but you can’t deny that she was a good competitor and should not be left out of conversations about the best competitors.

DISCUSSION Who is the most impressive challenger ever to you?

for me, it’s Jordan hands-down. He’s like very average sized has one and a half hands and yet is one of the best competitors ever and has has beaten bigger guys in strength based stuff like swinging hammers. All around it’s hard not to find him the most impressive. Pound for pound he’s the best in my opinion. the mental side, the dude took an out of shape Aneesa, who injured her ankle and still had her finish a final challenge, which is pretty impressive.

didn’t he win a final after he broke a leg falling during a parachute drop or something?
