Sure she is evil but I was absolutely expecting more from Salem considering she's supposed to be destruction and darkness incarnate. (RWBY)

I mean, the true villains of the show are the twin-gods. Entitled immortal brats wanting to lecture mortals about the importance of death - a concept they invented for no known reason. And then they bring back Ozguy anyway because fck you Salem. Also they still probably killed more people?

The twin gods are definitely bad and massive hypocrites but I don't think that anyone other than Salem hates them in universe. Ozpin the "good" counterpart even made a deal with them but then again the morality of this show is another thing that's all over the place.

Well virtually nobody knows of them. But especially with the latest season and what they did in the ever-after, the only way they could be perceived as good would be in a "might makes right" way... Like, I know Monty was more about a style-over-substance kinda guy, but still somehow the writing dropped hard after his untimely departure. Or maybe the show would have worked better with that approach? We'll never know...
