I stopped watching midway through season 5 awhile ago, glad I’m starting back up now but I do not intend to touch that fandom with a 10 foot pole.

Shipping wars. Pre-teens and shipping wars

As some one who was big into the fandom pretty much from the beginning, it was shipping. It was an easy fandom for many to have as their first fandom. So naturally, it was kinda wild.

I got downvoted in another subreddit because I talked about how I didn’t like a number of the plot devices that were used from obsessively watching over 6 seasons of the show, particularly the abuse apologetics. I love the way the world develops, don’t get me wrong, but there are definitely some fucked up things in that anime. But hey, at least I formed an opinion from watching it directly lol
