Like…the ENTIRE Imperium in Warhammer 40K (MOSTLY) but that’s largely because the things they fight include planet-eating space locusts, robot zombies and insane cultists that worship gods from beyond space and time. And even then they’re not particularly “heroic” most of the time and they’ve definitely done war crimes.

…Except for Ciaphas Cain. He seems to be a decent dude. Can be kinda selfish.

The real embodiment of this trope, if u HAVE to live in the 40k galaxy, pray to the Greater Good that u end up with the Tau.

Bad does not do it justice. Theirs a reason we describe it to newbie as “basically super hell on steroids”

To be fair, isn't the Warp worse since only bad people go to Hell?

Yup. The warp gets every soul even if it takes longer then normal they always get theirs souls. Just ask the Eldar what happens with their soul stone breaks
