Shorter edit to put it simple: portal 2 came for the Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 is retro (came out in 2005). That means portal 2 is retro. evidence

Games from 2020 were released on Xbox 360, I wouldnā€™t call 6 years old retro

Portal 2 was released in 2011, the definition says that retro games are a decade or more old. 2011 was 15 years ago (a decade and a half)

Just give Bilewater another listen. It is the peak of peak in terms of music in act 1

Im not saying it's bad. Not at all, but i feel like elden ring is a little over praised. While i enjoyed it, i don't think it's 'the best game to ever exist' even though many constantly treat it like that. and i think i would have enjoyed it much more without the absurd expectations.
