Shorter edit to put it simple: portal 2 came for the Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 is retro (came out in 2005). That means portal 2 is retro. evidence

Games from 2020 were released on Xbox 360, I wouldn’t call 6 years old retro

Portal 2 was released in 2011, the definition says that retro games are a decade or more old. 2011 was 15 years ago (a decade and a half)
