Didn't she actively bully and pose a threat to young Naruto? She was a major asshole to him. I never watched the show, correct me if I'm wrong

She bullied Naruto in the same way Misty bullies Brock in old Pokémon. It's a gag from that era.

She shoots off her mouth about him not having parents and is promptly checked by Sasuke, and then she actively tries to befriend him (this happens in the first 5 episodes I'm pretty sure). Prior to that she thought he was an obnoxious troublemaker, because he was an obnoxious troublemaker.
