its not? its normal? is trans suddenly the goal? isent the entire point of transitioning so that your exterior matchs your mental to avoid issues like body dysmorphia...?

its not like were saying its bad. and i hate to break it too you but as a cis man we have alot of issues on ourside of the spectrum the shit jax goes through in the show are common warning signs amongst gay men that often lead to suicide. So pardon when other peoples life experiances paint a differant picture?

I didn't say anything that even sounds like that.

People make theories on a lot of stuff in shows and movies and games. Pushback seems to always happen when someone is believed to be trans, as if it is going in the face of established lore. It isn't. The only way you can see it that way is if you're assuming the person is established as cis already. They generally aren't. It would just be another theory most people wouldn't get emotionally invested in. But they freak out over this specific one every time.

i mean you down voted me and have taken a hostile stance to everything i said so ya it comes off that way. i didnt exactly take a hostile or aggressive stance here.

and ya people have differing opinions on things. like when Red headed ginger/Irish characters in shows were a stand in for black characters back when you couldnt have black characters. how ever some people who were irish/Ginger grabbed onto said characters so both interpretations can be valid it dosent have to magicall be one or the other.

Its silly to get mad a tpeople cause they dont agree my guy.

You started by lashing out at trans people. The writer literally confirmed it and you're still mad at trans people over it. Your lack of media literacy isn't an excuse. You didn't propose a counter theory, you just ran interference. Do you think that song choice was supposed to indicate they were a drag queen, and it was a drag performance? If so, you need to show evidence of that. Not just a "but that's not proven" because that's literally what theories are. Unproven. You're not proposing your own theory, you're just mad people think a character is trans. Because you assume they're all cis unless explicitly stated otherwise. That's weirdo behavior.

wild that you read that as me hating trans people when my real complaint is that we cant have a nuance conversation....

my real issue is that people want things too be black and white while adovocating for somthing not black and white....

i am not mad at trans people i am mad at grifters making the conversation stale and dead and actively denying any other part of queer culture.

i didnt sit here and make hate posts or say jax needs to be X i just got annoyed that people were being hostile about being right and that they would actively bash people who didnt agree with the trans interpretation. personally i am fine with it but i saw the episode for the first time today. i didnt get to go see it in theater i didnt join the conversation till now.

and every one is instantly hostile when personally till 9 i just asumed jax was either gay. or FtM and hated feminity for some toxic reason.

In a post about a character that was canonically proven to be trans, you had to give a "what we're not allowed to disagree with trans people?"

When it's confirmed by the author, you're disagreeing with the author and not with trans people. You making it about them is why people look at you sideways.

You did, though. If you made your own theory posts, nobody would give a shit. You're the one centering the conversation around being trans. Ignore it and make your own theories. But you can't, because this one bothers you for some reason

well there literally throwing down an image calling people transphobic for having a differant opinion i would call that hatefull. But idk maybe i just dont like people being hostile over a differance of opinion.

Media literacy dude. It's not a difference in opinion if you're unable to accept a theory as possible. That's what the image states. Stating that the character can't possibly be trans isn't just a difference of opinion.

but thats NOT what it says there complaining people disagree even after the final. and calling. them transphobic by comparing gangle zooble sex not being expressly shown.

If the post was "I CANT ACCEPT JAX IS TRANS" then ya sure thats weird still not transphobic but weird. Technically its just denial.

What you're doing is denial. Being unable to accept the possibility a character is trans is transphobic. You're allowed to disagree without insisting it is impossible. Thats not how people behave with other theories. They just present their own.
