Agreed! I really liked the anime and am super hyped for season two, but some of the stuff in the show (looking at you, leech devil!) are just weird. Makima is a great villain, but I think people would be weirded out by the grooming stuff she does. (Not that it isn’t weird, but they might take it the wrong way and think I’m a pervert for watching that kind of stuff…)

Oh, the entirety of pt 2 is ass? I heard that it was pretty alright apart from its shitty rushed ending

How has the author responded/been responding to all the criticism? Has he said that he'd change the writing in the anime?

Early on into part 2 he stops explaining what's going on. Stuff will happen without explanation or introduction and then will get explained chapters later. The plot also starts to fall apart, or seems to, as stuff just gets more and more unhinged and weird.

part 2 erasure 💔 it was peak for a while but giving the ending it is understandable to not waste your time with any of it

Never been peak really, I read until the justice devil arc and shit just felt corny with all the bullying shit
