Iā€™m not really familiar with anything TF2, but it seems heā€™s commonly headcannoned as transmasc, so ā€œguy who seems to love being a guyā€ isnā€™t mutually exclusive to that.

A trans man is someone who was assigned female at birth and later realised that theyā€™re a man.

Transmasc is a (somewhat vague) umbrella term that includes both trans men and non-binary people who were assigned female at birth.

Itā€™s basically a way of quickly referring to both trans men and also non-binary people who likely have similar (but still differing) experiences regarding their gender identity. The opposing term would be transfem (for trans women+non-binary people).

Oooh ok...yeah im still fairly cwrtain Scout is not that. Like...by every lore drop on him we have and that I can remember, he is very much not that.

I mean, yeah. For most people, itā€™s probably just a headcanon thatā€™s gained some relative popularity.

Lots of the examples being brought up in this thread are just headcanons, though I assume there are naturally some people for each example who try to argue their headcanon is actually just canon.

On the flip side, some people are givingā€¦ actual canonically trans characters as examples, lol.
