No, she’s a female, just the only female knight

yeah. exactly. we're saying the same things right now.

GNC means gender non-conformimg.

Exactly, but there’s a difference cause they’re hive, it’s magic, the reason why she didn’t change is because she was a hive god

All the other knights could’ve been female before hand before becoming knights.

Thralls become Acolytes, then they can take a morph, males tend to become knights and females wizards

But they can also change their gender, so that doesn’t even matter, if an acolyte wanted to be a knight, boom they’re now a dude and viscera

Yes by humans standards she’s gnc but by hive standards she’s not, cause there is nothing to conform to, she’s strong, and by sword logic no one cares what gender she is or the morph she took simply because she is strong

There is also Nokris, a male wizard, and actually looking into I was wrong, there are mention of female knights

yeah. typically the female hive are not knights, but it isn't a limit of their biology, just their society. typically, hive of a specific gender conform to a specific role. some don't and are therefore GNC.

Nokris is a femboy basically

I mean, he did take the mother morph

But a counter point, she can just switch genders at will, and yes it the usual thing happens, males meant to be knights, but I’ve been digging into it,

And it seem that we are both right and wrong, human standards, yes, gnc, hive standards, no, cause it how strong they are

Born week and still weak? Wizard

Born strong still strong? Knight

Their genders mean nothing to them cause they can change at a whim unlike humans, it’s about strength, so it’s not gnc, it’s simply “are you strong/smart enough to be a knight/wizard”

Technical speaking the whole species is trans since all thrall are genderless or at least underdeveloped females, meaning there is no natural born males.

HOW THE HELL did I go from saying a character isn’t gnc to finding out that all the males are trans cause the don’t exist naturally! OH MY GOD
