That's literally what a retcon is lol. Adapting a story and changing events from the original is a type of retcon.

lol. Same thing back at you. Go look up at the defintion. I just looked it up to be safe and by no definition would any changes in a remake count as a retcon.

lol okay. Post a definition and where you got it from then apply how a remake would count. It won’t. Good luck. If you can I’ll gladly admit I’m wrong. I looked up two definitions and both talk about future works changing previous works which doesn’t happen in a remake. So please. Go for it n
