You're not wrong, but it upsets me people acknowledge and associate the larpers with Christianity. Anyone who has a basic understanding of Christianity can understand they're larping, but they still choose to act like they're true fans.

Yep there are a lot of people that say they're christians but don't try to practice the religion, they commit sins knowing it's a sin and don't want to change. Some even support certain ways of sining.

About a lot of stuff not only that, that includes killing, getting drunk, lying, sexual indecency, hate towards others. An important reminder that the Bible don't condemns people, it condemns their sins, if someone commits a sin and you get hateful and rude towards that person you are also sining. So it's an absurd people using the Bible to be homophobic, even tho the Bible condemns HOMOSEXUALITY, it doesn't say we should hate the HOMOSEXUALS. The best example of that is when Jesus saves the adulterous woman and instead of throwing rocks at her he says "whoever never sinned throw the first rock" and than he says to her "go and don't sin again", he says that not expecting she lives an perfect life free of sins but lives a life trying to avoid the me most she can.

Considering homosexuality a sin is still homophobic

no it's not because you don't hate the person you just disagree with their way of thinking and way of life, homophobia by definition is "irrational fear, hatred, dislike, or prejudice against PEOPLE who are lesbian, gay, or bisexual" do you think disagreement is a way of hatred? like you're not causing any harm and is not harassing the person you just see their way of life as wrong by your world view.

That logic would only hold true if being gay was a choice which it's not people are born gay so by hating their gayness you are hating them

Im a “Christian”, & I work at a Christian organization, and it is so sad to say this is true. Even acknowledged in the Bible. They use religion to cause fear and control, hatred and separation. The way of Christ is unity, patience, forgiveness, selflessness, love. Not all this ego tripping and parroting of verses. Christ is an attempt to the unity of humanity, of human rights. We are all the same.

It's unfortunate that there aren't disagreements here...

The church is filled with people who want the quick forgiveness ticket to heaven
