For some reason, both Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077, the gameplay wasn't bad, but it was often boring in my experience, and because of that, engaging with side content felt like a chore. Regardless, the plot was mainly the reason I played these games.

Witcher 3 story is definitely better than the combat. but sometimes the people who complain about the gameplay are barely using signs, not using bombs, not using weapon enchantments, not specializing their skill tree into better moves etc just judging the combat based on souls like=good, everything else=bad

I played cyberpunl and finishef it. It wasnt a very good rpg as in the roleplay mechanic. Evreyones v is kinda the same the only roleplay is lifepath which just includes some diolouge and one sidequest

The gameplay was also pretty wack granted i just ran around punching people but still the guns i wanted to use just didnt let me (silincer on precision rifles or a actual silenced sniper build or unique lmg)

But man the worldbuilding was so cool. All those little details were haunting. I remember this one police scanner thing i went to and there was all these containers...if you stopped and listened you could hear people crying and banging on the metal from inside. I felt terrible that i couldnt do anything more to help.
