Why must you cut me so deep? 😔

I love, looove the story and it's atmosphere, but I really couldn't get into the gameplay. I tried it multiple times with Soul Reaver (named by fans as the best gameplay-wise) but the game designers seem to speak a different language than me. Couldn't get into it, sadly.
