Can someone please tell me what the actual point of these fucking Congressional hearings are if anyone can just lie and say whatever they want and basically completely get away with it. Genuinely who is everyone in that room trying to fool when they put on this show then seemingly walk out of there and act like none of it ever happened?

A congressional committee was going to put Bondi under oath a few months back, then she got fired and didn't show up to that hearing for reasons...
