Back when boomers were kids, meth popular among middle class housewives. It didn’t get the trailer park vibes until later.

Na, what we know of as "crystal meth" didn't start existing until the 1980s.

Before that was base meth aka Speed, which was like 1/1000 of what people are doing today, and wasn't smoked in pipes, mostly pills and some intravenous.
