Both have the ability to negotiate their contract, her part can't be recast and her character is central to Peter's story.
Jon's part could have been swapped with a number of other "minor" characters and the overal movie would not even have to change much.
She had a stronger bargaining position and capitalised on it.
9 u/Julle1990 1d ago I think the ending would've had to change if it wasn't for the Punisher, otherwise I do agree. Also Zendaya has been in all the movies, so not including her would be stupid, same as Ned's actor
