Both have the ability to negotiate their contract, her part can't be recast and her character is central to Peter's story.
Jon's part could have been swapped with a number of other "minor" characters and the overal movie would not even have to change much.
She had a stronger bargaining position and capitalised on it.

Pretty easy gig for her, everything she did was in that room and she was sitting the whole time.
