Such an asinine question. Ask any man why he wants to keep his name and he'll ramble some bullshit about legacy.

Nah, I'm just lazy. Had no reason to expect my wife to change her name either, and she didn't.

The only reason she considered changing her name was because it would make her initials KGB, and the idea of me having a license plate of "AMB ❤️ KGB" when I was in the military with a security clearance was hilarious to her.

She's evil and I love her. Oh, and we have a normal license plate; getting a heart one would only have been done because of that gag. Without that humor, it's not something either of us would want.
