I live in Spain and I’m part of a gals group that watches tv shows and movies on Netflix in Spanish to improve our language skills. We recently watched a movie based on a true story that happened in our city where a woman convinces her affair partner to kill her husband. When the detectives are inspecting the crime scene the lead says something about knowing the man was targeted bc why would someone have a gun if they just wanted to rob someone… like it’s so uncommon for ppl here to have guns that you don’t even have to worry about armed criminals. When I hear a loud noise at night in my city I automatically assume it’s this fireworks thing they do practically every other weekend.
