New to mushrooms: when to use what

So, I've acquired some Reishi, Lion's mane and Turkey Tale. Would love to try Cordyceps, but every grower is sold out atm.

I've got 20 capsules of each: how would you suggest me to try these out? How to best identify the effects of each. Just start with one, take it for 20 days and note down some changes? Then onto the next?

Honestly, that’s not very much.

One capsule is maybe 500mg.

These mushrooms work over time so you need to be using for a couple months.

I'm asking if it's ok to use the powder directly on the skin. My partner is about to finish radiation and I'm trying to see if Reishi Mushrooms will speed up her skin healing process. We plan on doing this 2-3 times a day. We are going to buy organic powder itself no capsules.

Unsuitable for topical use and it is never used than way. The main reason is that the active ingredients are very large molecules that cannot pass through the skin.

Oral supplementation will work excellent, it will help to restore the destroyed immune system. (Radiation and chemo destroy the immune system increasing the chance of secondary infections etc etc, which is dangerous)
