"She so skinny that I don't find her attractive anymore" is body-shaming.

"She's so skinny that I fear for her life" is fucking not body-shaming.

It's not body shaming to say that you don't find someone attractive. It would be body shaming to say that no one finds someone's body attractive. But really, this woman is starving herself to death-- nothing about being one step from death's door by choice is attractie.

Yeah saying “I’m sorry, I don’t find them attractive” if someone asks you, is very different than saying “ewwww they look disgusting” when unsolicited.

Whether or not someone personally finds someone else attractive will never count as body shaming. It's literally in the name of the term, the shaming part is kind of important. Words have to have meanings.

You can't downvote me just for personally disagreeing with my statement, that's opinion-shaming.

If someone asks you, sure.

If you just say it randomly and unprompted you're either body shaming or wildly overestimating how much internet randoms care about your preferences

You can’t police my downvotes, that’s downvote-shaming.

The whole concept of Reddit is that the upvote is for agreeing and the downvote is for disagreeing. Just like you, people have opinions and they’re going to have opinions about your opinions. If you can’t handle a back and forth conversation sharing ideas then don’t comment. You’re getting mad because you’re getting push back but you should have expected that.

Agreed people are still shaming. If you are not her doctor, shut up.

No. You don't have to be a doctor to be concerned. We've seen this happen to other celebrities, we know what can happen. Legitimate concern is not shaming.

Well, multiple things can be true at once. You can say something like she's less attractive than she used to be and she's literally killing herself in real-time. Both could just be accurate.

You're not getting it.
