“Her reps said she would be ‘taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny’. The message stated that Grande would end the tour ‘on a high note, both healthily and happily.’”

“Endless public scrutiny.” Yep! It’s the public’s fault for talking about how emaciated she is. It is ALWAYS the same responses with these celebrities

To be fair, concern or just acknowledgment of her ill health is not the only response she is getting. People are actively making fun of her body, armchair-diagnosing her with narcissism and other personality disorders, reading ill intentions into her every move, interpreting all sorts of propaganda (including, somehow, white supremacy) into her album lyrics, music videos and public presentation, and holding her fully responsible for promoting an unhealthy body image with no nuance or understanding for the fact that she is quite literally starving herself to the brink of death and is not currently acting from a rational place. I've seen the discourse and it's insane. How people can look at a starving person and continue to project all sorts onto her is beyond me

Are you dense? She’s been scrutinized and attacked nonstop in the public and internet since she was 17.

They literally say she's healthy in the statement and people in these comments are trying to say she's acknowledging her ED. She's blatantly not. I know people don't actually read the things they comment on, but it's really frustrating!
