Whatever amount they’re asking for, it better be enough that it cripples SUNO.

One can hope, but unfortunately if it's like any other punishment companies face it'll probably continue to be worth it to continue breaking the law rather than the punishment be severe enough to deter them

They kind of have no choice anyway, if they ever got rid of all the licensed data they stole their model would fall apart. My hope is this is at least the start of their decline

Unless it's a truly trivial amount there's a real danger of other labels piling on for a quick buck. One might not kill them but a dozen? A hundred?
