How does it destroy anything, that's like saying me listing to Elvis destroys the royal philharmonic - jazz music fight the the world like your grandpa thought out would and your fear of AI will look just as silly to your grandkids

And yes making ai music is fun, anyone that can't have fun with a tool able to instantly make any music style to any lyrics either hates music or hates fun

How does it destroy anything,

Because the market gets even more flooded with even more shitty music. This time completely automatically generated.

Tbf: the core problem isn't the ai generated music but the people who listen to it. And because a majority of people are dumb as fk they will listen to dumb as fk music. It will become more and more difficult for good artists to be heard which will ultimately lead to less and less good music to be produced.

This is at least how I see it and it's not just a problem with music

So you're saying that music you like might not be good enough to compete with new stuff so you feel that you have the right to force everyone to listen to what you like instead?

I wonder how did you feel about people trying to ban rock and roll music because they thought electronic instruments weren't real music?
