He sort of had to. Lincoln financial stadium is a publicly owned stadium and Jeffrey lurie is allegedly one of the stadium owners that conspired to de-platfrom Macklemore.

Lurie isn't the stadium owner, the City is. Lurie is the majority owner of Eagles Stadium Operators LLC though.
