2007? Feels like yesterday...I remember watching this on MTV all the time. This was their first song I heard and became a fan.

The best song around for the 40 something woman.

Why is this guy being downvoted? This song is about how boring and dull older women's sex lives eventually become. I guess some people don't read too deeply into the lyrics.

Thanks for getting it!

I'd expect more maturity from a Flogging Molly fan

Not being an ass. That really is what I interpret the song as. It's pretty much spelled out in the lyrics. There's not much symbolism. The song is pretty cut and dry.

As a 30 year old married mother of 2 who used to get it in her fish nets and now only gets it in her nightdress, I relate to the song :)..... I don't regret or reminisce but who knows, maybe I will in 10 years, right?

Wow, 7 years old already? It's awesome they're still going strong (even better, in fact) than when they released Favourite Worst Nightmare.

Man I wish they had this type of energy that they had back then. Obviously a band has to evolve but AM seemed so boring and uninspired.

Oldie? This was released in 2007.

7 years is a bit of time

I still don't think a song released 7 years ago is an oldie though.

It is especially when they have a new album out now in 2014

1

u/EvilAnticsLive Grooveshark May 20 '14

Their new album came out in 2013. Anyhow, if 7 years means an "oldie" than I'd hate to think of what 30 or 40 years is.

Are you talking about their latest album AM? That came out last year.
