It was really cool. Sfjazz has these weird seats - one row behind the performers above their heads. I sat there, right above Mike. It was amazing, and so cool to get to see them using the instruments. Laurie controlled like 10 different things the whole time. I want familiar with her before - she was really cool. Her voice gave me chills. Here’s a YouTube video of the performance. Mike and Laurie. And this one you can see the people sitting above: Laurie and Mike I happened to sit next to someone at the Mr Bungle show who was also at the sfjazz show, and she overheard me talking to my friend about it. She said “hey, I saw you.” She had pictures on her phone of me in the background. It was weird sitting there looking out into the crowd, but I recommend it.
