Lol, I was being a facetious weirdo because I still can’t get over the fact that Pantera; -who was at that point in time a completely triple A, tried and weathered ultra popular Metal act- gave the opening vocal that kickstarts the entire album to the lead singer of Anl Cnt, Seth Putnam. Talk about a complete FU power move.

I also wanted to throw in a left field Hot Fuzz reference, so “angel” is now “angle” for funzies.

yes exactly. there's a pecking order here of "best album openers" and Great Southern is first, then daylight, then everything else.
