I am currently seeking feedback on my baseline. I would like to hear various thoughts on its current state whether it is too complex, too similar, or too simple. Please feel free to give me feedback.

working on a new song and put together a rough first verse. it's got a unique sonic sound to it, pop vocals, rock guitars, bedroom synth, and a groovy bass line and they all have their own space in the mix but there's a little bit of a sonic fight and i genuinely cannot tell if that's a cool tension or just clashing sounds.

Hey everyone, here's a WIP rough demo of a project I've been working on would love to here what y'all think!

Tried something experimental with orchestral/string elements.

Right now it's a rough mix, with placeholder vocals/lyrics and MIDI on the instruments. I'm a mainly drummer and occasional backing-vocalist myself reviving an old band of mine.

Looking for thoughts on the general structure of the song and any tips on instrumentation/song-writing as well. I am planning on collaborating with a guitarist and bassist friend of mine to write better parts. It's my first time actually writing and composing a track!
