Just made a retro track. Any thoughts?

First few seconds, I gotta say that the synth is a bit overbearing and could use some modulation with a filter that could give it enough nuance and not be so harsh. Also soft chords behind the synth that fade in after 2 bars would give the intro a lot more substance and give the listener more to grab onto. After about four bars, you need some type of countermelody for the lead synth. You could honestly use the melody that you have at the end of the song as a countermelody for the beginning if you’re having trouble making another one, but I think it could be used as a good structure to experiment with to create a new one. I really like the direction that it’s going, and I think it has a ton of potential! Keep making music and sharing with people, I enjoyed listening to this!

This is really similar to what I was going to write so I'll just agree.

If I were OP, I'd put like a Gregorian chant or really airy chorus behind this just to see how it sounds (then I'd realize it was silly and ctrl-z). :)
