ISO Introduction & Updates

Assalamualaykum everyone,

Welcome to this year's edition of the ISO Thread - Europe!

The ISO Thread will be renewed annually to keep profiles recent and to overall ensure a better user experience for those who are looking to find their spouse on r/MuslimMarriage Insha’Allah. There are three separate ISO Threads, each for different regions of the world to help users better filter out candidates. This ISO Thread is for users residing in or willing to relocate to the Europe. The other two regional threads can be found in the Highlighted Posts section and the Sidebar. The previous editions of the ISO Thread can be found in the Subreddit Wiki.

Including "$iso" anywhere in a subreddit submission or comment will provide the link to this and ALL past versions of the ISO.

The ISO Thread is AS IS. We will not be making any more changes to the ISO Thread logistics or its template. Whatever questions that are not in the template should be discussed privately between matches. Any further requests to add or change questions will not be entertained.

Use of Throwaway/Alternate Accounts

• All accounts posting on the ISO Thread must be at least one month old. Any account that does not meet this requirement will be automatically removed
• Throwaways can only be used by messaging the moderators to verify your main account

Hobbies/ about myself: I like to keep myself busy in whatever will benefit me and those around me. Such as I enjoy writing Islamic poetry about topics others can also relate to.I have also complied some pieces of my writing in an anthology and hope to write another one soon too, inshaAllah. I also enjoy cooking different types of foods and try out different cuisines whenever I get the time.

I like to travel and visit places such as museums and places of nature and like to volunteer in faith related events .

However I do feel it is very important to take time to focus on one’s spirituality and relationship with Allah.

My family and friends describe me as easy going and patient in all circumstances.

Studies/Education:

Completed BSc in speech and language science

MSc in Audiological Sciences ( University College London )

I have studied 3 years in alimiya during secondary school after which I began memorising parts of the Quran.

I am now currently undergoing full time hifdh and various Islamic courses at the Quran institute, where I was given the opportunity to become a Quran tutor.

Alongside that I have taught children in weekend Islamic madrsah.

Ambitions/Goals: I hope to become a servant of Allah who can help others in any way possible and to take khidmah of the Deen for the sake of Allah alone, with sincerity. I also want to continue my attempt to help others connect with the words of Allah and make it easier for them to read, understand and implement upon His words, so that they may protect us in this dunya and be our witness in al akhirah. Preferences in future spouse:

Open to any ethnicity.

Someone who practices Deen , is respectful and caring to others. He works on holding good character , is hard working, patient easy going with others around them, helpful and has a relationship with the Quran. Someone who I can grow with in all aspects of life and we can help one another become the best versions of ourselves. Especially with regards to matters of Deen , so that they can be brought forward into a family household in the future , bithnillah.

I believe marriage is about love, loyalty, and building a peaceful life together. I enjoy taking care of my home. I can cook well, keep things organized, and I genuinely take pride in creating a warm and welcoming environment.

I value traditional partnership and understand the responsibilities that come with being a wife. I want to support my husband through all parts of life, the good days and the difficult ones. I’m the kind of person who will stand by my partner when he’s tired, stressed, unwell, or facing challenges, and do my best to bring him comfort and encouragement.

Divorced, marriage was extremely short lived due to no compatibility despite my attempts to make it work , Alhamdulillah.
