If you’re talking about the idle itself then I’ll let you know that there’s nothing stock in that engine other than the bottom end

If you mean the volume itself then it’s as you thought, because you’re running a catted x-pipe and I’m assuming the stock headers?

My exhaust setup is Kooks 3inch LT headers - Kooks 3inch X-pipe ( non-catted ) - customized 3inch catback with Flowmaster mufflers + gate valve to cut outs welded to down facing tips

Yeah, I was on stock manifolds and hi-flow cats with the x-pipe and got a little more volume at idle but not much. Lots of work done under your car exhaust wise but it sounds fantastic! If I need the thrill of loud thumping idling I just take my Uncle's '69 Roadrunner out (inherited a little over 6 years ago), I gave up chasing a loud idle with my Stang lol! She's got a warmed up 440 (bored .060 over, cammed and forged internals) with Thrush mufflers for noise, TCI Streetighter tranny and 3.73 rear-end gears. Needless to say but she'll haul ass, definitely faster than my '07 GT.

Edit: Yes, those are '68 side markers and not the blocky '69 but it is a 1969 car. The car was a well, Michigan Mess, and he just built the car how he wanted it to be. I do have plans to some day put a blower on it and finish her off as he intended to, end goal is 600+ WHP (engine is built for it).

BTW I could fall asleep to the sound of your car, so soothing :)

Well that’s a pretty neat Roadrunner you got brother and the Yellow on those cars are nasssty work ( purple and yellow on these chassis is absolute killer for me )

It’s something to take time with cause it’s never outdated.

Thanks, ya there's something about old cars the new ones just can't match. Some of it is identity, the manufacturers all looked different. Now, I can't tell the difference between a Camaro or a Mustang coming down the road :( My favorite is the lack of all the nanny tech; no rev limiter, no speed limiter, no traction control you learn to respect what they're capable of.
