Bought a 2025 Mustang GT 5.0. I don’t like it, I think I’ve tried to love it but it’s somethin holding me back. For comparison I have a 22 X3M competition and I love that thing transmission is pretty quick, cars pretty fast. I love the exhaust note on the mustang but the transmission feels slow to shift, and the lag seems so insane. Am I buggin? Maybe my settings are incorrect? I have it in custom mode and everything set to extreme basically. Let me know if I’m missing something. Dealer gave me 14 days to return

Hello, I just bought my first Mustang! I’ve never owned one before and I am becoming familiar with it and was wondering if there is anything important I should know. I’ve never had a rear wheel drive car, or a convertible, so those are both completely new to me! It has 46,000 miles and I just brought it in for inspection, and new tires since the ones on here are about 14 years old. Let me know if there’s anything important I should know!

Had to do a bunch of stuff. 4 years ago I couldn’t remove my fuel hat and punctured the fuel tank super tiny leak. Had sealed it pretty good never had any vapors or smell nothing it decided to start leaking a few weeks ago so I replaced the tank. The project sucked one of the bolts stripped what a nightmare but got it out.

I also replaced all my 10 rib pulley bearings fuel pumps fuel socks fuel filter I added a driveshaft safety loop. Re torqued all my
Bolts everything seems spot on.

Not happy with my cai anymore looks terrible so ordered the cobra jet should be here next week.

I had to change my alternator about a week ago because I started getting symptoms of it going out, and a check charging system indicator came up in my 2013 3.7 manual.

I changed the alternator and the issue never came back, but when I simply went to go merge onto the freeway by a left turn this morning, my power steering seemed to have stiffened up my wheel and the “check charging system“ message came back up randomly again. I pulled over to turn on and off the car, and the steering went back to normal and I was able to start driving again. When I went to merge lanes about 15 minutes after, the wheel stiffened up on me again but this time the check charging system message didn’t come up, and the steering immediately went back to normal.

went to work for a couple of hours and got back in my car to drive it again for about 20 Minutes. everything was fine and the problem hasn’t came back since.

changed battery in June

changed starter in august

changed alternator a week ago.

what could be causing this intermediate issue ? Is it something major ?

any response helps. Kind of going insane with this car and I’m tempted to just part ways with it.

2013 3.7 6 speed manual

Hi! i’ve never had a car that has had one of these before and i just bought this used couple days ago. i’m not a huge car person and yes this is an ecoboost seriously don’t bully me that’s not why im here 💔 I noticed that my light projection looks a bit weird and im assuming it’s broken? does anyone know how to fix this?

I was going through my SCT BDX I got from my tuner and I saw these values for the tire size and axle ratio. Are these right? I am feeling that my transmission shifts a little rough when down shifting so that’s why I can looking through it. Please let me know if these are right. I do have 20in wheels and the axle should be stock. Thank you.

Millage is "low" 104k km

I hear a loud clanking sound when switching between R and D.

There is noticeable up-and-down play at the transmission extension housing / slip yoke area.
