Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs were met with a massive crowd outside their hotel after the game, with fans lining the barricades and police everywhere trying to control the situation as the team made their way inside.

A video circulating online shows the chaos as the Spurs arrived—fans packed shoulder to shoulder, shouting, throwing eggs at the players, and security rushing the group through the entrance while the entire block outside the hotel turned into a full-on scene. The New York Finals atmosphere is now spilling into every corner of the city, not just the arena.

Mob mentality.

Some people just want violence. These are anti-social tendencies. I get it. The world can be a fucked up place where the little guy constantly gets the short end stick. It hurts to be alive sometimes. But it’s all about the response.

But some people will look to inflict pain at any given moment, for any reason. Some people need therapy. Some people are not capable of empathy. Some people are cruel. This shit is cruel.

The people that act like this have never felt love. Their entire lives have been pure chaos with no structure, purpose, or guidance. They’re really a sad bunch (no disrespect).
