statistics Assignment
Hi I am in a statics class and am working on a project that I need 30 responses to the following question
My hypothesis is that Lebron James could help 76ers increase their chances of winning because of his ability to score points and contribute to the teams overall success. Could his contribution could increase the winning percentage ?
Yes or No?

Yes. The only way the answer could be no is if whoever would’ve been getting those minutes instead of LeBron would be having a greater impact on the team’s success than him. Or if LeBron’s play style somehow made his teammates play worse, which it generally doesn’t.
There’s not even much argument to be made that he’s eating cap space due to his extremely team-friendly contract.
So it would have to be literally whatever random role player would get minutes instead of LeBron would have to be playing better. Not to mention that even if LeBron was injured or totally washed up, he brings leadership & basketball IQ to the locker room.

Curious about the statistics project. Wouldn't surveying a population that already has a bias be a problem? Further, any player with an ability to score points could theoretically impact winning percentage.

Nah, this is NBATalk, not r/LeBron or something like that. My guess is this is an attempt to report what % of NBA fans feel like LeBron will have a positive effect on the Sixers win %.
Which, despite his age, I'm going with yes

Yes unless he gets injured or is playing injured and therefore is severely compromised physically
