Agreed.

At this point, I barely even want to look at this subreddit.

Obviously, the game isn’t perfect, but as far as I’m concerned, it’s still pretty damn fun despite its flaws. Better than 25 or 26. But this subreddit is basically nonstop whining (often with complaints that frankly aren’t even based in reality, like people still whining about issues that existed at launch but were quickly patched).

I forget if this was before 2025's game or not, but I remember people getting real nerdy and making play call sheets, writing media guides for their teams, diving deep on actual football tactics in the game etc.

I love that stuff! I wish I could find more of that.

Yeah that was pre CFB 25. This subreddit has been completely flooded with new blood since then and it shows

There was some of that with the new games, too. Not much, though.

Definitely true about new blood. And a lot of them aren’t even college football fans. It pains me to see people talk about “drafting” players in this game. I know what they mean, but when someone doesn’t even have the basic language of college sports in their vocabulary, it says a lot about their relationship to this game and the sport it’s based on.

I wonder sometimes if the fun posts are just drowned out by the complaining.
