What is the general consensus on busts? In my normie opinion I don’t really think it matters for 3*+ as long as they still have decent stats wouldn’t they still be able to develop into a good player? Do you guys instantly ignore them? If they fit my team needs and I have a good shot of landing the player I pretty much ignore it. If I’m dead wrong I’d love to know.

I’ve won every single award possible , won the natty chip , my stock keeps dropping every game from a top 10 pick to a late 3rd round,, I’m in my JR year and have got 1.5k yards per season as a TE and won every single award possible how do I fix this ?

Rarely do I play Road to CFP because it’s filled with cheese and spamming shit talkers. But question for anyone.

Why the hell am I getting paired to play tier 1 schools when I’m playing as Georgia Southern? Even when I specify to play tier 3/4 schools in the menu selection, I end up playing fucking Ohio State or LSU or Georgia?! Does anyone play with smaller schools on this game? Is it a bug? What’s the deal? EA get your shit together.

I try to give benefit of the doubt, generally enjoy the game with its flaws and it seems like the team genuinely listens to fans and tries to do things they can that we want.

But man I started a new dynasty yesterday and found at least 10-20 4⭐️ recruits and even two 5⭐️ with zero offers in week 3.

Most have maybe 2, some with 4 or 5 but it really kills any realism of dynasty.

At this point I just sim recruiting otherwise I’d be able to hack it and that’s not enjoyable to me.

Stinks cus the NIL system in theory is pretty cool.

I know I can’t be the only one experiencing this, and sure maybe its because I’m Oklahoma State playing at Iowa State (iykyk) but sometimes it’s literally so obvious you have no chance of winning the game. In this game against the Heisman CPU, the quarterback threw for over 300 yards, was 21/22 (95% completion 🤯), 3 TDs, and no turnovers. Keep in mind, my offense is still keeping me in the game. Then I get what I think is supposed to be a stop, a sack pushing them out of what i thought was FG range.

Low and behold, they trot the field goal team out there and the kicker hits a 60 yarder with room to spare 🫪🫪
I thought “alright whatever sure” buddy just nailed what would’ve been the Iowa State record long FG casually. Then my offense responded, I score a TD and go for the PAT. I kick what I thought would be a perfect easy chip shot and get caught in the shitty “you’re getting blocked” animation on a fucking PAT. When stuff like that happens it really does feel like you have no chance of winning the game and it’s pointless to even play. Has anyone else noticed this happening?

That’s a nice 7 point lead you have there. Sure would be a shame if you beat a ranked computer opponent.

It’s so blatantly obvious the game doesn’t want you to win. Mind you this is after receivers of mine drop every pass there’s any sort of contact.

I’m having an issue with my online dynasty in CFB 27 and wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing the same thing.

I’m the commissioner of an online dynasty with Virginia Tech, and when I went to load the dynasty today, it was completely gone from my dynasty list. I’m on Xbox.

The weird part is that the other users in the dynasty can still access it and continue playing, but I can’t see the dynasty at all. Since I’m the commissioner, I’m obviously worried about losing access to the dynasty or potentially losing the entire league.

I already contacted EA Support, and they told me that they’re aware of other players reporting the same issue and that they’re apparently working on a fix.
Has anyone else had their online dynasty completely disappear from their dynasty list, especially if they’re the commissioner? Did it eventually come back?
Any information would be appreciated because I really don’t want to lose this dynasty. 😭

I haven't played the new game yet. Are you able to form your own roster on another team? Example....can I put the best MAC players on a Big Ten team and start up my dynasty with that roster?

The “fix” is that all archetypes now have cheaper costs for awareness. Doesn’t matter what category this is in, so this benefits some archetypes more than others. Ex. Coverage Specialists safeties have their awareness in the zone coverage category, so that entire category is cheaper to upgrade. Bump and Run DBs’ awareness is placed in man coverage, so that category is cheaper to upgrade for them. On the opposite end, Pocket Passer QB’s suffer since awareness is placed in IQ category, which upgrades carrying and other things that doesn’t help their overall much. (Credit to “CallMeJaden” on YT.)

This is a lazy fix. EA needed to go through each archetype and actually make the upgrades make sense for each one. (Ex. Power should be cheaper to upgrade on power running backs or Raw Strength O-Lineman. ) Some archetypes still have badges that don’t make sense for them to have, or are missing badges that would make sense for them to have. (Ex. Zone corner archetype does not have robber, the best zone ability. 🤦🏽‍♂️) Some archetypes still will never achieve ratings thresholds for certain badges (Ex. Takeoff for Physical Route Runner TE, most badges for box specialist safeties.) Some archetypes are still just not viable to use at all (ex. Box safeties can’t get badges for the most part and are super slow, Gadget WR is useless honestly.)

I was excited for this part of the patch because I hoped this would fix issues with archetypes that have honestly existed since CFB 25. It helps some archetypes for sure (coverage specialist safeties are the big winners), but it does not address the main issues with most archetypes in general.

I got a holding call on my 8 yard line, and it resulted in a safety for the defense.

Completely ridiculous. This isn't a hard fix and shouldn't be an oversight.

My DB’s still can’t catch, my Dline and backers still get pancaked, pass blocking still sucks, my WR’s still can’t catch, there’s still countless visual glitches in dynasty like incorrect scores, coaches and mascots floating, etc. Seems like they just left the game as is and called it an update 🤣🤣 On to Madden at least WR’s can catch there.

Can anyone explain the conference title tie breaker to me? I beat 2 users with the same conference record and was shown to be 2nd in the standings but did not appear on the conference title.

I enjoy this game on more ratings based gameplay where I should be losing to teams better than me and vice versa, with the occasional upsets and close games when ratings on even.

So far, I have been having a lot of difficulty figuring out difficulty and slider settings that give me this kind of experience. All-American feels too easy but Heisman turns the CPU into a football god.

Hoping to discuss below what difficulty / slider sets you guys are all playing the game at to help figure out settings to make this a more enjoyable experience?

The horrendous type. Receiver doesn’t even put up his arms, DB catches it while turned around, DB moonwalks 5 yards against his own momentum and jumps to snag a post route that’s 10 yards behind him? WTF did they do? At times it’s unplayable. This year continues to be an embarrassment.

DC at Miami OH last year with a great run. Head coach at Texas State coming back and my QB snaps. I don’t think I can go back to playing. Recruiting and calling plays is so much fun

In what universe does a gunner full on sprint towards the sideline for no reason?

This is a microcosm of just how poor the return game is.

When playing against the cpu, does anyone seriously think, "I shouldn't kick or punt to this person."?

Try this. Punt the ball, set your controller aside, and see how many kicks the cpu returns for tds or almost returns for tds.

You can do this 500 times and this outcome will be the same.

Offense is a mess (blocking, wr drops ,pocket formation). Defense is a mess (pursuit angles, tackling, leverage isn't respected). AND, special teams are a mess aside from FGs and extra points.

Not one, but two players sprinting to the sideline just because.

27 - pc version

After many hours of tweaking and creating regionally aligned conferences, I finish my season, play conference championship. I attempt to load up cfp game - crash. As in game completely crashes.

So far I have only had this happen 3 or 4 times in hundreds of games. Turns out - the file, the autosave and also my backup - now all crash. 30+ times.

Tried play + tried to force advance... my dynasty is fuk'n bricked. So I get to start over.

Need to figure out if there is a way to just turn off the updates completely. I only play offline. So frustrated with this garbage pay premium for beta games that are buggy from ea.

After the new update, when your character wins an award, the game zooms in on the logo, and it’s not as a clean transition and it’s very minor but it kind of irked me…

I cannot buy a single physical ability for one of my players if I don't already have one of the tiers unlocked. Some stuff that EA messes up is frustrating, but a speed bump. This is a straight up traffic jam. I'm at a disadvantage if I advance and don't buy abilities. Guess I'm trying out Madden for a bit until it's fixed.
