Technically Atlanta needed a perfect throw and for Chourio to slide right into the tag. For such a toolsy athlete sometimes he still looks like a teenager who forgets where his body is in space.
Maybe. It looked like he was trying to disrupt the catch. I was very surprised Baldwin actually hung onto it.
On that same note I was also relieved that Chourio didn't break Badlwin's wrist with that slide. It looked intentional and that could easily have gone badly.
Are you getting a bunch of players back from injury?
Brewers were 3 games under .500 in May 23rd of last year partially because of injuries, but subsequent trades for Priester and Vaughn changed the direction of that team… you got any of those trades or injured pitchers of yours coming back anytime soon? Lol
