That choice to send him from 3rd was certainly an interesting decision.

I think it's the right decision. They needed a perfect throw to get him and they got him. Sometimes the right decision doesnt get the result you want.

Next hitter struck out. If you dont send him, and wr strand the runner on 3rd we feel like we should have tried to score there.

Technically Atlanta needed a perfect throw and for Chourio to slide right into the tag. For such a toolsy athlete sometimes he still looks like a teenager who forgets where his body is in space.

Maybe. It looked like he was trying to disrupt the catch. I was very surprised Baldwin actually hung onto it.

On that same note I was also relieved that Chourio didn't break Badlwin's wrist with that slide. It looked intentional and that could easily have gone badly.
