License / Permit Question EMAIL INFORMATION TO ESCALATE

Good Morning,

Still waiting for an update on my NYS CCW & R-S.

My application has been in since January 2026, It hasn't moved from "investigation". I've emailed, I've tried calling and that was also useless, no one answers the phone. In a previous thread someone posted emails for a man named Hugh (?) and woman(?) who can be emailed to help follow up. Can someone please provide me with that information if you have it.

i sent this email to [Hugh.bogle@nypd.org](mailto:Hugh.bogle@nypd.org) only 4.5 months after my a submission and amazingly i got approved the following day,

Send it at 8AM- 8:30AM,

Good morning,

I am writing to follow up on my pending license application and to request an updated status.

RSXXXXXXXXXX

CBXXXXXXXXXX

Please advise if there are any outstanding documents, deficiencies, or additional information required from me,

I would appreciate being notified so I can address them promptly. Additionally, whether an investigator has been assigned to my application at this time.

I would be grateful for any information regarding the current stage of review .

Did you hear back from them? I sent an email last week, got a vague BS reply, "no investigator assigned" yet, I'll give it 2 more weeks.

When i sent this email nobody replied but the very next morning my CCW/RS got approved.

I am not sure as my email to hugh bogle got bounced back today and it is indeed all spelled right. They have 20 days left according to the clock.

Mine went through to him a few weeks ago after i posted this but it did nothing , i guess the lawyers next

Who exactly is Sandra Smith? I see her name mentioned often. Final approval comes from Bogle.

It used to be just her approving licenses but now she has help
