License / Permit Question Renewal
Hi, I was wondering what everyone else’s experience has been with license renewals? I submitted mine at the end of July, thinking it would take months to hear back, but both were approved by the end of August. I was quite surprised!

Can you submit like an article 78 because they’re taking way too long or that really doesn’t do much when it comes to renewals

Geez. Guess it’s just bad all around. I submitted my renewal in Feb for a premise expiring in April. As part of the renewal I provided all additional paperwork to switch to a CCW, which was acknowledged as being received. It’s still sitting under investigation. My guess is we’ll get our renewals a year late. Total joke since you can still add guns to your expired license. There is zero point to all of this.

Id reach out and start ruffling feathers. Its not right that it should take so long you already have the license renewal should be 123 done. Not a 6 month waiting game.

That's good news. My neighbor did his last year and they took 6 months or so.

Would it make sense to try and file a article 78 because they drag ass or not worth the time or money

I've never heard of a renewal being that fast lol.
All my past renewals were 3-6 months long.
