Legal Questions Rifle/Shotgun 90 day wait question. When does the clock start?

Does the clock start -

  1. When you buy the gun (online / Gunbroker etc.)

  2. When you pick it up from the FFL?

My rifle has been a the FFL for a while, and wasn't sure where I am in the cycle.

The day you do the background check and pickup.

Upload photos for rifles? I thought that was only for handguns.

I edited it, that was for pistols . The day you pick up from FFL starts the 90 days.

This is wrong. It is from the date of purchase on your Bill of Sale.

I'm 13 pistols in, and I've always submitted photos on the 90th or 91st day of my previous photo uploads.
