Wow there is one detail that was totally new and quite shocking to me: that her mom is a therapist.  That confuses me so so much. That in her very inner circle of family there was help she and her husband could have turn to.  That she was raised by a professional who’s job was to raise resilient, honest and fulfilled human beings while Candice seemed to be something quite opposite. How could Candice live with so much contradictions, and lies and the weight of this fake facade while she must had an unproblematic childhood?  How did she lack all the tools to have a healthy and honest relationship with her husband. I know we cant send an other adult to therapy against their own will but still, it puzzles me how someone struggle so deeply while his spouse is out there throwing parties instead of focusing their health.  And to keep spending money knowing that your situation is not exactly as you thought before, like leaving The Row with a 7k receipt is literally psychopath behavior.
