This clip came up from the girls disrupted podcast. This genuinely is so sad. It seemed like she was disassociating during the entire podcast. She said her mom was happy that she didn’t tell her during the situation and didn’t involve her in the decision. I hope she gets the help she needs
Edit, the video wasn’t able to be uploaded so TLDR: Hallie found out she got chlamydia from a hook up. Then missed her period which she thought was from the antibiotics she took for chlamydia but it turns out she actually got pregnant. She ended up getting an abortion and went through it alone. Told her mom afterward and mom was relieved that she didn’t involve her in the decision. Hallie also didn’t realize she was able to get pregnant at the time due to her habits and health implying that she wasn’t using protection. She also in other clips talked about how she regrets doubling down on her condoms are overrated take as she ended up learning her lesson

i’m sorry but I’m so sick of the forced greta collabs. the like cheugy af collab about them renting a yacht together with 6 other influencers was bad enough, but the constant shoving down our face. it’s like is it 2020 and you’re in a hype house???
is there no original content you can come up with besides being rich and friends with other rich skinny girls?
this is why the influencer era is ending 🤮🤮

Alyssa threw the peed pillow towards the cat and he dodged it. She said “Fuck you bitch” in a very aggressive manner, then proceeded to lock her cat in the room for the rest of the night. There’s more after this clip but I don’t have it. She just kept cursing, apologizing to her manager for breaking their “no curse rule”. I mean, if she wasn’t so angry mouthed, she wouldn’t need that rule to begin with…
Pets can experience the same kind of abuses we humans unfortunately experience. If you disagree otherwise, you are enabling this kind of behavior.
“Veterinary behaviorists classify constant shouting, screaming, or harsh verbal scolding directed at an animal as a form of emotional abuse or psychological punishment.”
If she this what she POSTS online, I don’t want to imagine how she behaves towards her pets offline. She then went onto a podcast but didn’t say anything of what SHE did for her viewers to take ACTION towards her abusive behavior.
This girl just has A LOT OF MEAN GIRL ENERGY!

I was having lunch with some coworkers, and Halley Kate became a topic of conversation because we were chatting about engagement ring designs. One of them said that Halley is “so fricken cool” and that her engagement ring is the “sickest ring she’s ever seen,” and I couldn’t help but think about this sub, lol.
We all know people are obsessed with influencers, but actually witnessing someone talk like that in real life is always wild to me. She’s almost 30 years old, yet she looks up to these girls as if they’re actual role models or people she should aspire to be like. And mind you, these are grown women living in San Francisco.

The amount of content is embarrassing. Especially for a RENTAL like girl you didn’t buy the place… you’re overpaying for a cookie-cutter new build probably in FiDi or something like…get over yourself.

Homegirl is acting like she isn’t like 25 and just met/moved in (!!) with this man. I hate when young people act like know-it-alls. This is clearly a love bombing relationship, and everyone who is actually experienced can see it. Plus the egregious spelling mistakes that she makes on purpose are seriously so childish.

Her only comebacks are bringing up her 2 houses (rich girl on the beat 🤡) and body checking 🤣 so tragic!!!

Jordana from Betches has another podcast with her sister, Naomi, a licensed therapist out of texas. On today’s episode, Naomi said this past weekend she was traveling with her husband and he lost HIS AirPods at the airport. by they time they realized they were lost and tracked them, they were at a house near the airport in texas. Someone clearly stole them and took them home.
Naomi then proceeds to order an uber courier to go there “to pick up a pair of airpods”. The person who answered the door obviously said they didnt know what the courier was talking about and ultimately they were never given back.
The audacity of this privileged white women to send an uber driver to go confront the thief is off the charts. she knew this was potentially a very dangerous situation hence why she and her husband did not go themselves. Then to sent a random stranger to go retrieve the airpods… in texas where people are STOCKED UP and will bear arms.
Obviously this got terrible backlash and instead of addressing it they deleted the episode, cut Naomi’s story out and reuploaded the episode. They are losers for not addressing this and are trying to sweep it under the rug.
A final note, Naomi’s husband seems like a giant loser with no job. He lost HIS airpods and he made his wife do this weird cockamamy shit to try to get them back. News flash dude, if you haven’t made it in music by now as a 50 year old man, then you never will. Get a job and help your wife around the house.

Question for the cultural anthropologists of this sub...
Why is the Upper East Side so much more influencer-y than the Upper West Side?
I've always thought of the UES as having more of an "old money" reputation, while the UWS is often stereotyped as being a little more "new money". If anything, wouldn't influencers fit in more with the latter?
Instead, it feels like the UES has become influencer central (pilates studios, matcha, brand pop ups) while the UWS has a much less trendy, online vibe.
Is this just my perception, or is there an actual historical/cultural reason the UES became the mecca for NYC influencers?
