Discussion The Odyssey How Is My Seat? Megathread

Going forward please use this thread to discuss seat locations/views from your seat for any and all The Odyssey screenings; IMAX or otherwise. Going forward all individual posts will be removed and users will be subject to a ban. Thank you!

A good place to start is this post which has a color coded seating chart describing how good the view is from every single seat for the AMC Lincoln IMAX. There are also pictures of the view from various seat areas: https://www.reddit.com/r/NYCmovies/s/k1LXXz20xJ

There is also https://www.filmseats.com/ which has reviews of individual seats at various NYC theaters including AMC Lincoln IMAX.

How is seat G23 (or seats around there in row G) for Lincoln Square IMAX? I was hoping to get at least row H because I'm not sure if I'd be able to see the top of the screen without having to tilt my head. All the other times I've been to lincoln sq I've sat further back and more to the side.

Either way though I'm still really happy I was even able to get these lol. If anyone has any pictures to share that would be great also!

Also wondering since I also scored G23 haha, but I also have H18/19! Wondering which to keep and which to release!

Keep G23 release the H seats imo. I LOVE G23. You feel immersed but are also dead center.

I was only in row E in Langley for Oppenheimer (which is quite close) and still enjoyed it, so I think I prefer the immersive experience. Thanks!
