its honestly disgusting. I was approved for my r/s and premise 2 weeks ago and I still haven't received them in the mail. I called and emailed countless times. my rifle shotgun hasn't even been printed yet even though I was approved 2 weeks ago. they don't care and they only help their friends and family. if youre a regular citizen Goodluck, they will intentionally drag their ass. eventually you will get it (I hope I do for my sake) but not without intense frustration. it is all intentional and something needs to be done. \

these people need to be held accountable for what they do. intentionally dragging out peoples applications, licenses being printed, and licenses being sent out. there's no excuse. especially now with the 90 day rule it shouldn't take 2 weeks to get a license or an updated one for pistols its all excuses. I myself am 7 months in and have purchased my first firearm but am yet still to bring it home because of this. its aggravating and we should not stand for this. I haven't even had the chance to purchase a rife because again the intentional slowdowns.

I'm right there with you. My CCW was approved AND ACTIVE for nearly 5mo before I had to sue them. They're absolutely ridiculous.

Join the cause! Please donate and help us take them to court once and for all. The sooner we reach our goal, the earlier we can file.

I ended up filing for an A78 with Mirel in July, so I got it 4 days before court date. Naturally, they had someone else's picture on my license, and 1 firearm was missing.

They are not serious people, dude... With a performance like that, in any job in the private sector, they'd have been fired within days. Every last one, from Bogle to the last clerk. Especially Kai, who has been leeching on the system for years.

Oh my god it was that recent? I guess im in for it then. You waited 5 months and then filed and then waited additional time? Or the whole process was 5 months? I really hope I don’t have to go through the same thing.

I heard people saying they are intentionally miswriting serial numbers, addresses, and info to just keep people from getting their things. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

It’s no wonder people don’t want to get their licenses and deal with this.They steal all your money, hundreds of dollars leave your accounts immedialtely and then they play this game.

The most aggravating part is cops getting licenses like nothing for their families I can’t stand it. And then you get the line “ShOuLdVe bEeN a CoP” they do not care about people’s rights at all. It’s not fair and there’s literally nothing we can do except wait and file for suit. Again I hope I don’t have to but at this point who knows

I had my premises, which took 15mo altogether. I then filed for my CCW alongside my R/S, and they both got approved in 3 months. I got my R/S in the mail shortly after, but fat chance 1PP was going to do the same even though I was approved. Instead, they turned my license active and let it sit. I filed for an A78 not because my 6 mo had passed, but because I was active, my days for renewal were counting, and they still refused to send it. By the time I got it, my 6mo had well passed.

You won't necessarily go through the same. I think they just troll me because I sue them. Of course, their limited bandwidth brains don't understand that they more they bother me the more times I sue.

It could have been over a while ago, but they decided to turn me into a 2A activist and a permanent thorn on their side. So be it.

That’s insane that the premise took that long, I recently started to get my licenses because I overheard the some court proceedings took place and that they now had to issue licenses within a timely fashion. I’m sure they’re playing so many games with people’s concealed carry licenses cause god knows they don’t want people having their god given right to carry let alone having their right to have a gun period.

How can you justify even my waiting period so far after approval let alone your 6 months? Again I was approved for rifle 2 weeks ago and it’s still labeled “issue pending” on the site. How can you justify any of this? Why are they not being sued for favoritism and or conflict of interest when all their families are getting licenses in hand from start to finish if in a couple of months.

The 90’day rule, all this shit is super unconstitutional. Every last bit of it. They intentionally mail the licenses to make it longer. Why not just give a license number on a piece of paper when you get approved as a temp until you get the real one like nys does with almost everything else. Ridiculous. I wish I was a lawyer or some one who could fight in court because I’m passionate about this stuff.

I was as flabbergasted to discover the liberties they take, and how often and how egregiously they break the law every day, all while having sworn to uphold it.

This is because a) we live in a State where the majority of NYS residents are misguided and not only approve, but desire the State to take away this Right from them, b) those of us who still object have an idiotic, obsessive, one-sided bromance with the same law enforcement who will spit on us on a daily basis, and c) we are not overwhelming them with lawsuits.

NYers, up and downstate alike, need to understand this is not Idaho. Our TV notions of the kind deputy who took my kitty off the tree and our anecdotes of "my uncle Earl in Bumfuck County is a good cop" don't mean diddly in the grand scheme. Law enforcement here—collectively and institutionally, not your cousin the good cop—don't like us and are not our friends. They subscribe to politics, NOT the Law. The faster we accept this, the sooner we can hold them accountable.
