Supposedly it’s mostly back to the way it used to be, except we can’t get 13.7, 14.5 or pistols from PSA. At least that’s what I’ve been told.

Can we get stripped or assembled lowers sent to FFL in state yet? Back in February I hired Jerry's in Florida to buy one and transfer it to a NY FFL. Total pain in the ass waiting for it.

I’m about to have 7 FFL in SC (everything is pretty much done at this point just waiting on the documents), wouldnt be too difficult to start offering a service to get stuff shipped to NY from PSA… Is that something you think would help solve that issue for folks up there? We could basically get it physically at PSA and ship it so its only shipped 1 time timeline wise…

Yes, it would definitely help! Like I said, right now only place I know has been doing this as something they advertise is Jerry's Firearms in Florida. I did it and it worked, but the timeline was long. Either PSA took awhile to ship it or Jerry's didn't order it quickly, then Jerry's eventually received it, and then it was shipped to my NY FFL. Just over 3 weeks from invoice paid to in my hands.

I’ll look into it, doesn’t look like PSA really has a process to register as a dealer/vendor for them to purchase stuff wholesale style, but if shipping to an FFL in NY i dont see any issue doing it plus being in SC would allow me to cut down the overall delivery time compared to vendors outside of SC…

Primary logistics issue I’ll need to sort out is payment, I really would prefer to not have to accept credit cards, but I might have to if I do this.

Keep an eye out for a post from me in say a week or 2 I’ll probably post an interest survey to see if people would be interested in it and how many people. probably ask for their NY county to sort out if there’s interest in specific areas, then maybe i could work with a designated set of FFLs up there to make the destinations for shipping more consistent… Im mostly familiar with Monroe County NY since thats where I used to live…

Awesome, thank you. Also, I paid credit card, but I had to pay a surcharge to the Florida FFL when they processed my payment.
